I made a tiny change to use the high-resolution images at "/static/styles/images/sprites2x.png" rather than "/static/styles/images/sprites.png", but found that the two images don't match:
1. (Minor) The "U" is not underlined;
2. (Major) The "strikethrough" icon is missing, putting the "undo" and "redo" icons in the wrong place when composing messages.
I fixed this at https://webmail.tigertech.net/static/styles/images/sprites2x.png (feel free to copy it). You simply replace "/images/sprites.png" in the theme CSS with "/images/sprites2x.png" to make it use them.
This looks much better on high-resolution monitors; perhaps the change can be made upstream.
