Hello,
I'm just trialing the webmail pro system, to replace another system,
So far been impressed by the simplicity of this system, and how easy it works. However i need to figure out if there is a way to add a short coming that we require.
From what i can tell there isn't a global address book, i think i read somewhere this is in the Aurora product or something, however we don't need all the other features that this brings.
Don't suppose anybody has written a plugin to add a global address book? or a way to add a list of contacts to a person when a new user logs in? We only need to add a couple of contacts, like a support and finance contact.
I might just write a script to update the database if we go with this product, just wondering if anybody had found a way, had a quick look at the api, but couldn't see anything relating to contacts.
Thanks
Tim

I've just found the following link http://www.afterlogic.com/wiki/Add_contacts_from_external_address_books_%28WebMail_Plugins%29
not sure why i didn't see it earlier. reckon that's a good start for me to look at.

I've noticed in the latest version in the changlog, it lists Global Address Book now available in WebMail Pro.
Just wondering is there a way to add some external email addresses into the global address book, or does this only pick up from internal users?

Global address book is just a list of user accounts set up in WebMail Pro. So if you create such an account, either manually or via API, it will become available in Global address book.

Not to worry, thought that was the case.
