Hi,

Iīve just downloaded and installed the version 7.02. After some tests, I found some issues Iīd like to share:

- As I didnīt create a new domain, I logged with a user and it was default created in the system. If I disable 'Allow users to access accounts settings' I canīt delete it through the control panel.

- Even though I disable the option 'Allow users to access accounts settings', the Settings -> Properties tab still shows the options (like smtp server, imap server, and so on).

- I canīt send emails. I tried options like 'No authentication' and 'Use incoming login/pass...' but none shows effect. Itīs weird because the SMTP phase is not reached in Debug logs (meaning that the problem is not related to smtp server).

- Regarding the previous issue, I collected a http error_log: PHP Fatal error: Class 'DOMDocument' not found in /<my-path>/libraries/MailSo/Base/HtmlUtils.php on line 35, referer: http://<my-server>

Thanks,
Fernando

The first two issues are known ones, fixes for them have been added already and will become available in next release of the product.

As for the error, make sure you have XML extension installed for PHP. If you run Linux system like CentOS, install php-xml package with your package manager.

Hi Igor, Iīll wait for the next version.

With regards to the last topic, I installed php-xml and it also worked. Maybe it could be included in the checklist at installation time.

Thanks,
Fernando

Totally agreed on that one, and have asked the developers to make sure the presense of this extension is checked. It's supposed to be a solid part of PHP 5.3 but we've already encountered several PHP installations where it's not there by default.

Hi,

Regarding those item: "Allow users to access accounts settings", as the new version was not released yet, could you send me the patch to the 7.0.2 version in order to let me update my version.

I'm waiting the new version to be release, but I'm afraid it will take much more time and I need it solved to launch it to my customers.

Thanks,
Fernando

There's no simple patch here, unfortunately; however, the next version 7.1 is released next week so it's not a long wait.

Hi Igor,

I've installed version 7.1 - Besides I've disabled the option "Allow users to access accounts settings" - the tab settings with imap and smtp settings (server, port) and so on are still visible.

I believe that disabling this option only the 'Your name' field should be shown.

Thanks,
Fernando

I have confirmed the issue and reported it to the developers. Hopefully, a quick fix is possible, and if that's the case we'll surely provide you with it.
