if 3.1 isn't too advanced, please consider:
- sort by column click in mail lists.
Some senders have their mail + name appear as:
lastname, firstname <email>
If I simply hit reply, the to field contains lastname, firstname <email>
I think webmail thinks that the comma separate two addresses, and then fails. Could you think of a solution.
Will you notify existing customers?

We'll review this situation but in general case there is little to do because jdoe, someone@domain.com sequence is really two addresses, one local and one non-local.
lastname, firstname <email> is incorrect e-mail. Correct one should be "lastname, firstname" <email>.
