Using webmail php version. I started the install, everything on the first page said it was ok. Even the data files were found. When I press NEXT, I get this.

Admin Panel is not configured properly.
Failed to access "adminpanel.xml" config file.

My file permissions are set to 777 on everything in the webmail directory. This is only for testing purposes.

Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Check the data/settings directory, do you have adminpanel.xml file under it? If yes,
what permissions are set for it?

I checked the permissions. The are set to 777. This is also not an upgrade it was a clean install.

I see. The thing is, WebMail Lite was not updated for some time. We're going to update it once WebMail Pro 6.1 is
released, maybe in a month or so. In the meantime, I suggest to try using the Pro version. It is available for both
30-days evaluation and as free license limited to 5 user accounts.

We're not planning any releases before 6.1, maybe one or two maintenance builds.

It would allow playback of special mails containing attachments in AMR format.
