In the new WebMail 6 it is not showing Advanced Login.
So when a new user with new set of login details (username, password, SMTP, POP3 IP) is not able to register.

Tried all combination in settings.xml

Login page look'N'feel is now configured by modifying settings.xml
file
. Try tweaking LoginFormType option.

Igor,

We already tried making change to settings.xml as mentioned in the documentation but could not succeed.

Please tell us ...

1. How we can register a new user with different SMTP & POP3 server details?
2. Logging into the server whose SMTP/POP3 details are mentioned in settings.xml file also fails. The error log is mentioned earlier.

In WebMail Pro 6.0, user accounts does not have their own settings for POP3/IMAP and SMTP hosts and ports, those are inherited
from the domain entry. Thus, you need to create a domain in Domains tab, make sure you have supplied valid POP3 and SMTP
server settings. It is possible to supply different hostnames and ports for POP3 and SMTP, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I can't believe that i can't access to my account (made with version 5.0).
I have a lot saved mails in my old account.
I have to access otherwise you have make a script to convert my old account into a
new account type.
If i install, in the future, WEBMAIL in my server for all my staff, this situation
is very very dangerous. Someone could kill me!!

Can you help me please?

If we try to create a new domain using adminpanel we get this error.
Please note that this is a fresh install and there were no issues during installation.

Delete in plugins directory, HMAILSERVER.ini and HMAILSERVERDOMAINPLUGIN.dll

If it still doesn't work. Delete directly Plugins folder.

There is some bug on new release. I have founded and correct some.

This is exactly why the 1st step of upgrading instructions is a requirement to create full
backup of the installation. Due to significant changes of product architecture, we knew some
issues might occur after upgrading so we made sure the warning is as clear as possible.

To provide a solution, we need to know what exactly the problem is. In particular, are you using POP3 or IMAP
account? In 5.* version, what synchronization mode did you use? And what exactly do you mean when you say you
can't access email? Do you by a chance have different login and email username? Or there's some other problem?

If you're developing a good product you can not lose compatibility with the previous versions.
If you have software problems on new release... ok. Another question is if you
change the architecture ant this becomes incompatible with previous!!
Now, i think that it is not the only one with this problem.
I think you need to restore the advanced login or in any case, allow access with username and password, as before!!!!!

The problem is this:
I use POP3.
PHP version.

Before i log into my account with:

    mail: mario@aaaaaa.it
    username: mario
    password: xxxxxxx

Now there is only, "mail" and "password"
there isn't username and i have always
"The username or password you entered is incorrect"

So as I can see, your email username (before @ character) and POP3 login are the same. In this case, advanced login
is unnecessary and you should be able to log in using the following configuration in settings.xml file:

  <LoginAtDomainValue>aaaaaa.it</LoginAtDomainValue >
  <UseLoginAsEmailAddress>Off</UseLoginAsEmailAddress >

In version 6 adminpanel, i can't access to the second account. I see only "m.genti@aaaaa.it" and not the other "m.genti2@bbbbbb.it".

If the 2nd account is linked to 1st account with "Add new account" button, the 2nd one will not be
shown in AdminPanel. Its done that way for licensing clarity: when you add additional account to
existing user, it does not increase total number of users restricted by your license.

I don't know. If i see the Users in adminpanel i can see only one account : m.genti@aaaaa.it and if i see in "Licensing" i see "Current number of users: 2".
But in any case this is not my issue. My issue is how to access in my account.
I have a news: on one pc that i use sometimes, i had checked on "Sign me in automatically" and now i waqs able to access, and i can see mails of my two accounts. Now, how can i login in my pc? Do you understand?

Igor please. Do you have to restore the functions to configure account like version 5.0. If i have multiple account, before i could access to all my account with only one login. This function is very very useful.

Database update script used in WebMail Pro 6.0 assumes that fields which are not required in this
version are removed from the database. Thus, with backup copy not created, I don't see a way to proceed.

Sorry Igor but isn't true i exported my DB and i see awm_accounts table and there is "mail_inc_login" in my account i have :
field "email" = m.gent@aaaaaa.it and field mail_inc_login"=mario where is the problen to login using the mail_inc_login" filed? I don't understand!
