Using Afterlogic Lite version with IMAP support on my server. If I delete a message on my phone, it's marked for deletion when I log into webmail. Highly annoying if I don't check my webmail in days. I would have to move the messages to the trash folder in order to get rid of the old messages.

While some IMAP clients just mark messages for deletion, WebMail moves them to Trash folder. Those two approaches are rather incompatible, but if other IMAP client you use marks messages for deletion, it should also have a way to purge/expunge them from the server.

On my phone it "moves" the messages to the "Trash" folder on the server. The same folder that gets purge/expunge on webmail. When I log into webmail, the messages aren't moved to the Trash folder, they appear in my inbox marked for deletion. I assume this would be an issue with my phone then as it's not doing its part in the move process.

Actually I take it back, I just did a test on my phone and I refreshed webmail a few seconds later.

I deleted a message on my phone, where it moves the message into the "Trash" folder. I refresh my Inbox in webmail and the message is marked for deletion. I go into the "Trash" folder and I see the same message. I purged the "Trash" folder and the message is still in my INBOX marked for deletion. I tried logging off and back on and same thing. I eventually have to move the marked messages to to Trash folder and then expunge them.
