I am evaluating Webmail Pro and it seems a great product to me, but I have one question for now: is it possible to have multiple from addresses for one account? Preferable selectable by a drop-down list or similar. And if this is possible, how do I set it up? I am using one mailbox, that has a 3 or 4 aliases and would like to select one of the aliases as from address, depending on the situation, so I can for example filter the mail, depending on the replied-address.

This feature is actually available in WebMail Pro. In order to use it, you need to add other accounts to your primary account ("Add Account" button in Settings area). Once you have more than one email accounts under your WebMail Pro user account, you can choose one of them in "From" dropdown menu. I understand this is not exactly what you're looking for, but that's the only way it works now.

(I cannot find the described "Add Account" button)

Setting "Allow user to change email settings" made the button visible! And after adding some new accounts I could select the from addess as suggested. Thanks!

Unchecking "Get/Synchronize Mails at login" for the aliased accounts (which refer to the same mailbox as the main account) seemed a good idea to me. I am right?

Agreed, as long as this one is basically the same account on a mail server.

Am I right assuming that there is still no possibility to have more than one email adress for one account?

 | It does not make really sense to me having two accounts just for switching between different sender-adresses, as for example folders still belong to one specific account.

Yes, in WebMail Pro e-mail address denotes an account.
