I downloaded WebMail Lite as a front end for my hmailserver. Now I get the error 'A configuration error in the e-mail system caused the message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between two recipients'. I thought this was just a front end and not a mail server? Can anyone help out? Thanks.

I understand you're getting the error while trying to send a message, right? Are you getting it "on screen" or with a bounce-back message? Does everything work as expected when using a different mailer (Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird etc.)? On the other hand, does this occur for accounts on any other server, say, GMail?

I get this in a bounceback message when i try to send a message to an account on the hmailserver from an external account. I can login via the web login, but not send messages at the moment - 'Internal Server Error. Please, contact your system administrator in order to report the problem.'.

Sounds like this doesn't depend on email client you're trying to use for sending mail, correct? If so, you need to contact hMailServer support in this regard.
