I was install AfterLogic XMail Server Lite version 4.8.10 on SuSE Enterprise Linux 10.3 and have a problem:
# rpm -i --nodeps afterlogic-xmail-lite-4.8.10-1.i386.rpm
chown: `apache.apache': invalid user
chown: `apache.apache': invalid user
Starting AfterLogic XMail Server: /etc/rc.d/init.d/xmail: line 26: 26884 Floating point exception(core dumped) $DAEMON
error: %post(afterlogic-xmail-lite-4.8.10-1.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 136

How about adding apache.apache user? No matter what privileges are granted for that user, there's a great chance this might help.
