This may sound like a silly question but how do I find out what version of Webmail Pro I'm running? As far as I can see it doesn't say anywhere in the adminpanel or webmail system and none of the php files seem to give any clues either.

I really just want to know if the version available for download is any newer than what i'm already running.

Hello,
To see which version you're running, simple go to the login page.
(For the demo it is here: http://www.afterlogic.com/webmail-pro-net/default.aspx)

Then right-click on the page and "View source".
Scroll down to the very bottom, and you'll see something like "<!--version 4.5.7-->", where 4.5.7, in this situation, is the version.

Actually, I don't think there's anything to add to marci's thorough post. Make sure you follow these steps precisely:

1) Navigate to login page of your WebMail Pro installation;
2) Use "View Source" or similar feature of your web browser;
3) Get to the bottom of the source code, you should be able to see the version number there.

There's a chance you're running old version of WebMail Pro, we didn't always include version number in the code this way. If you'd like us to assist you in detection of the version number, please send the URL of your WebMail Pro installation to us via HelpDesk, FTP access would be really helpful.
