I just installed Webmail lite on a Solaris 10 system.   I'm
getting a blank screen when I navigate to
www.domainname.com/webmailphp/mailadm.php and this
error message when I navigate to
www.domainname.com/webmailphp/index.php

Warning: realpath() [function.realpath]: SAFE MODE
Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 100 is not
allowed to access /var/webmail/data owned by uid 80 in
/opt/coolstack/apache2/htdocs/Loveland2/webmailphp/cl
ass_settings.php on line 29

My data directory is /var/webmail/data, as is my dataPath
variable in inc_settings_path.php.

I set the owner/group to webservd/webservd and perms as
noted in install doc.

Webmail directory is
/var/coolstack/apache2/htdocs/Loveland2/webmailphp
and root:root owner/group. Perms set as in install doc.

Any thoughts as to what I'm missing?

I figured out how to disable SAFE MODE and I can at least log
in now.

If we understood you correctly, disabling SAFE MODE resolved all the issues?

Best regards,
Andrew
