Have a user trying to send an email with a MP3-fille attached (approx. 3.2 Mb). After 1-2 minutes he just gets a 'page not found' in the browser. Is this due to a timeout?
If so, where should I I change this?

If web server is IIS6/Windows 2003, it's more likely IIS6 restricts max uploaded file size to certain value (less than 3MB).

To increase maximum size of the uploaded data: Open your metabase.XML which is located in c:\Windows\System32\Inetsrv, find the line "AspMaxRequestEntityAllowed" and change it to "5242880" (e.g. 5MB). This will allow to upload files up to 5MB size. (Of course, you can enter another value to suite your needs). Restart IIS (using iisreset command-line utility or by rebooting the server) and try again.

Regards,
Alex

Perfect, nice to have a responsive software supplier.
This is certainly the problem.

Perhaps, your IIS installation does not permit direct editing of the metabase. To enable it:
- From IIS Manager, right-click the (local computer) and select "Properties"
- Check "Enable Direct Metabase Edit"

Alex
