First, please make sure the SMTP server you're sending through supports SMTP authentication (if it doesn't, please disable SMTP authentication in WebMail Admin Console). Then, make sure the username and password are valid for the SMTP server (try to send a message through the same SMTP server via MS Outlook). If it doesn't help, please enable logging in WebMail Admin Console / Debug Settings, reproduce the issue and provide us with the log file for examination.
Best regards,
Andrew

I've asked the developers to take a look into this. Will let you know once there's a response.

Developers state that the problem is about incorrect authentication details. Maybe, IMAP and SMTP servers use different credentials in your case, while WebMail Pro assumes it's the same credentials for both incoming and outgoing mail.
Also, it looks like you're using an old version of the product. There is a chance that the problem was caused by a bug in the product, so giving current version a try might be worth it.
