In webmail php pro 4.0, there is a option named "mark grey" in [user setting]->[filter].
What does this mean?

This means all messages which fulfill the filter condition will be grayed in the message list, there are no additional effects. This makes sense for junk messages, so you'll be able to easily determine which messages are junk.
