We are having a problem in MailBee Webmail Pro when composing email. Sometimes when you click new message to compose an email, you will get a MailBee login prompt that shows up in the rich text box where you would write the body of the email. This is happening about 50 percent of the time and you have to log out and back into MailBee to get it to come up normally. I thought a session might be timing out but most of the time it does this within a minute or two of logging in. Where can I look to track this down?

Although WebMail Pro sets a quite long session timeout, its value cannot be greater than one in IIS configuration. Please try to increase this timeout at:
Start / Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Internet Information Services / [SERVER NAME] / Web Sites / [WEB SITE] / [WEBMAIL VIRTUAL DIRECTORY] / Virtual Directory / Configuration / Options / Session timeout
Best regards,
Andrew

"WebMail Pro sets a quite long session timeout"
Where is this set? Can I change it?

To alter ASP.NET session timeout, modify timeout value under sessionState tag in web.config file located in WebMail Pro root directory. The number for the timeout must be an integer, and it is in minutes.

Igor

If there is not a sessionState tag in the web.config file located
in the WebMail Pro root directory, shouldn't it inherit the value
in the root directory of the application?

As WebMail Pro requires creating an application for it to work, the root directory of the application is WebMail Pro root directory.
Default configuration options are set in c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine .config file. IIS allows modifying this file under ASP.NET tab in Default Web Site properties.

Igor
