Hello, good morning, evening or night... depending on where you are.

I have a question about Sieve support, my mail server has managed Sieve installed, I can telnet into it on the default port of 4190, in Webmail Lite 8 (Ver 8.2.5-build-a3) I have checked the box to enable Sieve support for the mail server, I can see in the Webmail logs that its talking it sieve with no errors, I have checked the Mail.config.json and AllowFilters, AllowForward and AllowAutoresponder are all set to true but nowhere in the interface can I find options to forward, add Auto responders etc. Where are they supposed to appear? Also is there something I have missed to enable things... I followed the instructions and dont think I missed anything, any pointers would be helpful.

Hi Leyton,

If you log into WebMail Lite Live Demo with a demo account, you should be able to see Forward, Autoresponder and Filters tabs under Settings > Email Account screen. Assuming everything was configured correctly, you should have the same behavior on your own installation as well.

However, I've noticed you're on an older version of the product, and there could be bugs there which prevent these features from working properly, so I'd suggest to try installing the latest 8.2.11 version we've released a couple days ago, and see if the issue is still there.

I still cannot see the tabs in the demo. but I have upgraded the b11 as suggested, and the tabs are now visible.

I rechecked the sieve option and everything started to work, I suspect it might have been me, but not 100% sure. Its now working that is the main thing.

Sieve and the autoresponder, This appears to work fine at the server / script level, but if you create an autoresponder, then disable it and re-enable again, then the checkbox does not stay checked when you move between tabs in the email account settings pane. So it looks like it doesn't work. If you refresh the entire page this the checkbox remains checked. Was a bit confusing at first... wonder if you could check and confirm this issue.
