Hi,

after updating from 7.4 to 7.5 no logs are written anymore and trying to change log verbosity ends up in 'Failed to save'.

I don't think there were any changes in the product affecting this functionality, this has probably something to do with the upgrade procedure itself. Make sure you have proper permissions set for data/ directory, it should be recursively writable by web server.
