Hi All,
I'm using the asp.net version of WebMail lite (5.1.3) and I found the following problem:
When I forward a mail with a pdf or zip attachment, the forwarded mail still shows the attachment -> OK. But when a jpg is attached to such a mail, the forwarded mail looses the attachment -> not OK.
Any ideas how I could fix this?
Thanks
Konrad

That version is not maintained anymore, you might want to check if the issue persists with WebMail Pro ASP.NET. The recommend option is PHP version of WebMail Lite though.

Hi Igor,
I know that this version is not maintained anymore but at the moment we cannot host an php based website. I was hoping that you can give me a hint how I can fix this issue or at least where I have to look to maybe debug this myself. I would be very happy for any advice you can give me.

The only suggestion I have is to check whether the problem is there in WebMail Pro ASP.NET, and if it's not there, compare the code responsible for this functionality and see if you find anything which affects the behavior.

Any chance that you could point me to the right function?
Thanks

Can't really promise but I'll check through the code, and if I find anything out I'll let you know.

Hi Igor,
Have you been able to review this ASP.NET code already? I really need to fix this issue!
Thanks

I was able to reproduce the problem, but no luck so far finding its reason. Will keep trying.
By the way, the issue isn't there in WebMail Pro ASP.NET, I'd suggest to consider switching to the Pro version.

Any luck so far or should we cancel this topic as it is not that easy to solve this?
Thanks anyway!

I don't think we're giving up on this yet, and once the developers have a chance to check this, they'll do so. It's just hard to say when exactly this happens.
