Is it possible to enable SPA for the PHP version of Webmail Lite?
Thanks!

There's no such configuration option, if that's what you mean. However, since WebMail Lite is an open-source product, you can definitely modify it to make it meet your requirements.

I notice that the ASP.NET version has this option. I guess I am limited to what PHP can do?

Seems that way indeed. Some things native to Windows are solved a simpler way in ASP.NET case. WebMail Lite ASP.NET, however, is not open-source even though it can be used for free.

Can you direct me to the file that controls the connection/authentication part of Webmail Lite? I want to give it a go and see what I can do.

I don't think that one is limited to a single file. But if I had to research that, I'd start from common/imap_storage.php and libraries/other/class_imap.php for IMAP, and common/class_pop3.php for POP3.
