Hello,
When a message is sent reports the following error:
"Data transfer has failed, probably due to server error. Please contact system administrator."
The message is sent and arrives at the destination, but this error is informed and does not automatically return to the beginning.
could someone help me?
thank you
John

Sounds like the problem occurs when trying to upload message to Sent Items folder. Do you see sent mail stored there? Also, do you use PHP or ASP.NET version? Is there anything relevant in debug logs?

Is there anything relevant in debug logs of WebMail, or in PHP logs?

That looks like a problem with some PHP extension missing. Did you run the installation wizard when deploying the product? If you didn't, but the installer wasn't deleted yet, run it using the address of the following kind: http://localhost/webmail/install/ . You can also place a new copy of WebMail separately on the same machine and run the installer, to see if it shows any compatibility errors.

There's probably a misunderstanding. If you have downloaded a product, you're supposed to run the installation wizard as per my previous message. That's the only way to make sure your PHP configuration matches system requirements.

If that doesn't work, I suggest to try cPanel installer instead, it's available for download here. It's assumed you have root access on that cPanel installation. If that's not the case, installing regular cPanel package to your hosting webspace should be a decent option.
