Hi, I just finished installing and configuring Webmail Lite PHP on Centos 5.9 with PHP 5.3.3 and the latest version of Qmailtoaster. Now I followed several threads about how one can hide links; so I hid the 'Manage Folders' link in the lower left pane, the check box and text for automatic logins on the login page, but now I tried to hide the 'Settings' link at the top right next to 'Login' following a thread saying to modify this line in the webmail.js file:

"this._settingsTab.className = (window.Separated) ? 'wm_hide' : 'wm_accountslist_settings';"

To "this._settingsTab.className = 'wm_hide';"

And it's a no go; I noticed that the changes worked like it should except that the 'Settings' link in IE9 still appears. And when I use Chrome ver 24.0.1 none of the changes worked. What am I missing?

Thanks.

You probably need to clear web browser cache to make sure changes are reflected properly.

Thanks. The links are hidden in both browsers now. I remember clearing the cache only once in IE but I never did in Chrome; I should have cleaned both after each change instead of closing and opening them. It's always those small details we all should remember and pay attention to...

Again thanks Igor!
