When reviewing website error reports, we've come across one forum post which couldn't be saved for some reason. We believe this message can be helpful to people visiting this forum, so we took it from the error log and placed here, with all the message content kept the way it was.

I too was facing similar problem of not connecting database,
Its Nice Solution Here!!!
I hope this Link too will help to connect users which worked for me too.
STEP 1:
Create ODBC Data source (DSN)
click on the link to know how?

STEP 2:
and then select then "ODBC Data source (DSN): " from the ADMINPANEL of Afterlogic
and write the "DATA SOURCE NAME" to the text box.
in above link example its "World Sample"
That's it!!!... Connection Successful!!!
