hello all

I am using the last version of webmail lite, I install it on my server and on a workstation to see if it would work better on one site or the other

both are gentoo, the first is headless the other not

I have root access on both system

when I do the setup, everything goes ok, I then log onto the adminpanel, check the settings, all good

but then, I try to connect on the user side, I get wrong username or password every-time, no matter from which system I do it

for info, roundcube, and other webmail are working well

when I look at the database on mysql, I see that all tables got 0 rows, meaning all tables are empty

am I missing something ?

this seems to be linked with the login with email address or only username

I have tried as suggested the pro demo, login with my email address does not work, I go to advance login and add my username (email without the domain) and voila

is there a way to do that in lite ??

solution found !

in data/settings there is a file settings.xml

search for Advanced and change the value to on

<UseAdvancedLogin>On</UseAdvancedLogin>

connect again to user frontend and the options for advanced login appear, click on it, enter email address, username and passwd, it works
