Try to send a message to bounce_10@mydomai.com address directly via any e-mail client like Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird. Does it arrive to bounce*@mydomain.com mailbox?
Best regards,
Andrew

It means that's not a wildcard mailbox. A wildcard bounce*@mydomain.com mailbox means it will catch all mails addressed to bounceSOMETEXT@mydomain.com. Leaf through the documentation of your mail server to learn if it supports such mailboxes.
Best regards,
Andrew
