I've got an application that uses the mailbee components and I want to improve it.
Basically I want to be able to use my application to view any attachments an email may have. Naturally I'd expect windows to take over slightly and determine the file type and use it's installed application to try and open the file but I've no idea how to move forward with this.
Is this possible?

You may save the attachment to disk, then just run it, so Windows would take care about processing it.
