We have an internal email application written in VB6 that already uses an SMTP ActiveX control written by someone else. We'd like to use MailBee SSL to secure the connection. Does MailBee SSL work with other vendors controls, or do we have to use the MailBee SMTP ActiveX control? We'd rather not have to rewrite our existing SMTP code.

If MailBee SSL will work with our existing SMTP ActiveX control, how would the interface work? The example code just gives the example of working with MailBee SMTP, but the web site infers that it would work with other controls.

 Any help is appreciated!

MailBee SSL/SMIME is a plugin for MailBee Objects. It cannot be used with mail components of other vendors.
