Is there any way to change the search function to search all emails in a users account instead of just searching the current folder?

what about changing the search function so it also searches subfolders within a given folder?

That isn't possible in WebMail Pro, IMAP search only allows for searching in one folder at a time, doesn't matter if those folders are subfolders or not.
