I am trying to evaluate WebMail Pro on my FreeBSD server, however; for some reason the installer (both /install/index.php and /install/installer.php that it redirects to) show a blank page. What's strange is that I can access the webmail login page without an issue right out of the box. I just can't install it. I've run the free (Lite?) version of this software on another server successfully, and I'm nearly ready to buy my first Pro license, if I could get it to install.

Let me give you some information on my server.

FreeBSD 10.2-RELEASE
Apache/2.4.23
PHP 5.6.24 (cli) Zend Engine v2.6.0

There are no internal server errors, and even when I execute 'php index.php' in the install directory, the output is completely blank. I ran 'php -l' and there are no formatting errors. I triple-checked my apache logs, permissions, etc. to no avail.

A competitor's product installed successfully, but it does not support calendar. I feel like I should be able to run AfterLogic's software without issues. I am not sure what to do.

Here is some more output from me trying to troubleshoot this issue:

-rw-r--r--   1 www www   412B Jul 31 00:50 index.php
-rw-r--r--   1 www www   6.1K Jul 31 00:50 installer.php

01:47 PM root:server /home/mh/www/site.com/mail/install: php index.php
01:47 PM root:server /home/mh/www/site.com/mail/install:
(No output)

I've installed the free version on a cPanel shared hosting server without this issue. It's strange it will execute the login page but not the installer.

Any ideas? Thanks!

In fact, it's not really required to run the installer. You can just log into AdminPanel, with /adminpanel/ added to WebMail URL and mailadm/12345 as credentials. Once there, you can supply MySQL credentials, create tables, put a license key in, and so on.
