The empty folders in Trash is a nice option.

Any chance of having some feature for other folders also?

Can you describe how exactly you see this? I mean, would you need a way to run "Empty" operation for just any folder out there, or there needs to be a way to mark a folder as one you can empty with a special button?

Hi,

Id appreciate a way to empty any folder, if possible. I understand its more important for the Trash and from what I see the button is there just for trash, right?

But Ive seen many cases where its useful for other folders. Sent items and others... Sometimes users want to simply empty folder complete. I guess they could delete it and then recreate it :) (except maybe sent items, inbox, etc since they are base folders, so not sure they could do that). Useful for example if user gets flooded with bounce backs (account abused).

other cases are when users use POP and it loses sync of what was downloaded, they want to delete tons of emails at once from inbox.

So its more of a feature request, if possible empty folder option for any folder, if not, at least for all base folders. Ive seen other webmails that let you empty folder any folder and its great, avoids customer having to ask us to delete directly in the system.

Thanks.

I see, thanks, we'll have this considered for the future releases.

Igor,

We had a case just now. Users deeply miss an empty inbox because of spam abuse, I believe I forgot to mention that case. And they have to ask sysadmin to clean their boxes.

In other solution we used, we had a way for users to empty inbox and it was very useful for above reason.

Thanks.

The feature sounds nice but we're not planning to add it - however, we intend to provide a full-featured API on both client and server side, which would allow users of the product to make various modifications of the interface and functionality. We realize it's huge work ahead, but in our opinion, it's the only way for the product to actually have future.

Ok, thanks. Maybe it wouldnt be so hard, though, since you already have empty action in trash, just add it to other folders.

But will keep a note to post this somewhere for community, hoping some can do it.

Tks
