I have my webmail set up to redirect users from the homepage to their webmail inboxes. This works great except if two things happen at the same time.
1) they have no new messages
2) they have set their webmail to check for new messages at login.
Then I get the error:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0009'
Subscript out of range: 'Mailer.MessageCount'
functions_main.inc.asp, line 1266
Please advise.

Also,
I am wondering what the simplest way is to make check mail at login the default for new accounts that are created.

In the database, change the default value for wm_users.bool_getmail_at_login from 0 (False for MS Access) to 1 (True for MS Access).
