Hi,
I just downloaded the webmail lite version but I got problem downloading attachment. Either I pressed open or save the attachment I received a warning like the specific file cannot be found. I am pretty sure that the permission setting is correct.
Thanks.

It's possible you have some kind of antivirus program which blocks access to certain files.
If you're sure you do not have any antivirus running, try to experiment with different types of attachments. Text files, documents, graphics, big files, small files, etc. maybe, the problem occurs with certain file types or sizes only?
Also, you may try to disable error handling in Admin Console/Debug Settings. In this case, it's possible you'll start getting error 500 with more detailed error information like error description and line number. If you just get error 500 with no details, make sure to disable friendly error messages in IE properties.
Please let us know the outcome. Thanks.
Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Yes, it seems that the problem occurs with certain file types. It works with txt file and file with no extension but not other common file types like jpg, doc and so on.
File size doesn't seem to matter.
I tried to disable virus scan in the host machine but it doesn't solve the problem.
Thanks.

Could you pleae provide us with a test account on your WebMail installation so we would be able to check this on the live system? You can email this info to support@afterlogic.com.
Thanks!
