Hello,
I found this software about a month ago and have been playing around with it since. It is for work and we are an all mac network so there aren't too many calendar / contact server packages out there that can span all versions of OSX. So this web based software looks like a good match for us and if it is, we plan to buy a license.
However, we will be coming from NOW Calendar and Contacts, not Outlook. And that's fine, I can export to csv, I made a script in Filemaker to clean up the data and put it in a properly titled and formatted csv file. And the importing of contacts is working, except for a few things.
The business email, business web page, other email, and birthday fields are not working. I have followed the Wiki page to a tee. And like I said, it works it just doesn't import those fields.
Now I look in SQL and can see the fields, labeled "h_web" etc, but when I look in the libraries/csv parser file (which I updated per a post I found here), there are very few fields there in the array.
Is the Wiki field list complete? What am I missing?
Thanks,
Chad

Can you please confirm whether this is about ASP.NET or PHP version of the product? As for fields which fail to be imported, can you please provide a list of how exactly they're labeled in CSV file you use? I believe there were a few fixes towards this in PHP version recently, not sure about ASP.NET one though.

PHP version. Sorry I had that in there and must have removed it on editing.
Like I said, I updated the parser.php file that you had linked to someone else on this forum. And the imports are working just not those specific fields.
CSV file saved with UTF-8 encoding using Unix (LF) line breaks.
These are my column headers...
first name,last name,notes,home street,home city,home postal code,home state,home country,home phone,home fax,mobile phone,webpage,company,business street,business city,business state,business postal code,business country,job title,department,office location,business phone,business fax,business web page,e-mail,name,birthday,nickname
...which are identical to the Wiki page, even the order. But I mean just comparing the wiki list to the edit contact page in the software you can see missing fields. For instance, there are fields for business & personal websites but not a field for a business email.
If I have all of the fields filled in that I listed above, like so...
this is what I get after import...
Notice both website fields, the business email, and birthday did not work.
I hope the images can help.
Thanks,
Chad

Thanks for the detailed info, I will ask the developers of WebMail Pro (PHP) to look into this. Most probably, the response is to be expected early next week.

According to the developers, this is fixed in upcoming WebMail Pro 6.3 version. The release is scheduled for today. And of course we'll have that wiki page updated.
Thanks!

Well, I haven't had much time to put into it but I upgraded to 6.3.0. Now I can't get the import to work at all, no matter the encoding or line break type.
I have an extended weekend so I will be back next Tuesday with more information.
Thanks

Well that's strange, I believe import routine wasn't heavily modified in this new release. Thanks for letting us know, I'll ask the developer in charge of PHP version to look into this.

We've tried that with a random CSV file, worked just fine. Please provide us with a CSV file which doesn't work for you, we'll do our best to help you out.
