Hi,
I am developing a closed portal system and want to have a feature where users can 'private message' each other as opposed to a generic webmail system where users can email anyone. I can remove/change certain parts of the application to handle this, but I want to pre-populate the contact lists.
Is it possible for the contact list to look up an existing table of users in my DB, or to sync my user list from one table into the awm_addr_book table on a regular basis? Does the pro version give me any other options on this (LDAP, shared address book etc..)?
Regards,
Cates.

WebMail Pro supports global address book. It works for autocompletion, so when you start typing email
address, webmail would show a dropdown with available options. It checks both the address book itself
and the history of the contacts you have sent messages too.
We currently work on LDAP layer, now it's only available in terms of custom development.
