when logging in, if a user selects the option "remember me on this computer", it
is completely ignored.
and on the next visit to the page the login and password fields are both empty.
i have tested this on several different computers and with several browsers (IE,
firefox, chrome), and all show the same results.
so it must be something on the server side.
Amir.

What version is this about, PHP/.NET, Lite or Pro?
Also, what's the version number?

I see. If you try trial copy of current WebMail Pro 6 release, does the issue persist there?

there is no option here to attach screenshot.
see here: https://disk.ccccloud.com/v2/files/F8388CC2-4A4E-11E0-B968-

error is : ...compilation error...
impossible to copy+paste since browser freezes.
after several attempts i was able to copy paste the error once , the pasted test
was a little over 65000 lines (even though the error message is a single page
long)
at the moment of login the browser is completely frozen, more then that, the
whole computer gets frozen to a level that even the mouse pointer isnt moving
smoothly on the screen.
i only mention this since this is a MAJOR slowdown, i have not encountered any
site freezing the computer to this level.
its worst then malware or virus.
the original post was regarding login info in version 5, and it turned to an
installation of version 6, which does not have a free version from what i can
see, and doesnt answer my needs.
i'm not interested in upgrading to version 6 if it means adding payments.
is remembering login info an included feature on the lite .NET 5.x version?
if it is, its not functioning.

The error message means you need at least .NET Framework 2.0 with SP1 installed.
There is free version for WebMail Pro, license is limited to 5 users though. As for WebMail Lite, it will be
released in few weeks and it is basically built on WebMail Pro core. That's why it's important for us to know
whether the issue can be reproduced on the latest Pro version.

I believe it is not supposed to be saved after logging out. The idea is you do not press Logout, just close
the tab/window. Using Logout link would kill the session and any data associated with it.
