Hello,

when iam installing webmail LIght ASP.net with MYSQL i got the error "Connect unsuccessful!: Internal Server Error. Please, contact your system administrator in order to report the problem." How can i fix it ???


im Using Windows server 2008 R2 and Mysql 5.5.9+MYsql ODBC connector 3.5.1

Does the same issue persist when you try installing the Pro version of WebMail?

And BTW do you use Windows or SQL authentication?

okay here are my solution,

First i update to MYSQL Connecter Version 5.1.8,then i create a SYSTEM DSN with the ODBC DATA SOURCE ADMINISTATOR tool... and for connection to my DATABSE i use the option ODBC Data source (DSN):databasename. After these steps afterlogic succesfull connect to MYSQL.

I don't think this applies to MySQL. In case if this is about MS SQL I have just responded in the other topic.
