Hi,
I just deployed a webmail version on my linux server, and trying to connect to Gmail with imap protocol. it says failed (wrong userid or password). But it works on "http://afterlogic.com/webmail-lite/"
any suggestions?

the error message says "Wrong email/login and/or password. Authentication failed."

The first thing you need to check is that OpenSSL extension is enabled in your
PHP environment. Without that, you won't be able to access SSL-powered services
like GMail.
If you specify username for login, try supplying full email address for it, and
vice versa.
