Product: Webmail Lite .NET
Server: IIS 6.0/2003
.NET Installed: 2.0.50727
Database: MSSQL2000
Connection: IMAP to Linux email server
I'm testing your product as a way to offer an alternative to Squirrelmail (yuck) to my customers. Problem I'm having is that my users can log in once, log out, but on subsequent login the app hangs at 'Connection/Logging on to server'. The Login is valid on the email server side.
I've run wireshark and see this in the results:
[IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.]
WebMail.ImapStorage.Synchronize(FolderColl ection foldersTree) +2020
WebMail.MailProcessor.Synchronize(FolderCo llection folders) +161
WebMail.check_mail.CheckMailForAccount(Acc ount acct) +325
WebMail.check_mail.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) +352
System.Web.Util.CalliHelper.EventArgFuncti onCaller(IntPtr fp, Object o, Object t, EventArgs e) +15
System.Web.Util.CalliEventHandlerDelegateP roxy.Callback(Object sender, EventArgs e) +33
System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) +99
System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() +47
System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Bool ean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) +1436
If I rebuild the database - that is, while logged in to the admin of webmail, delete all tables from the database and have webmail install them again, then my users can log in again - ONE TIME EACH.
Please advise.

More Info: If I just remove all the entries in the messages folder, I'm able to log on again.

Could you please let us know the exact version number of your WebMail Lite installation? You can find it at the bottom of login page, something like:

We reinstalled on a different server. Looks like the server we were installed on had too little memory and the app pool was recycling like crazy.

<!--4.8.18-->
still having the issue of having a login stall after a user logs in. I think the issue comes if the users doesn't complete the login process. This may be the case if the user has a large number of emails and exits before the emails are completely enumerated. Please advise.

Is it possible to provide us with a test account on your mail server so that we could investigate this directly?
