Hi All,
I've recently installed WebMail Lite on my web server for testing and evaluation as a replacement for Squirrel Mail. I'd much rather a PHP/MySQL solution such as AferLogic WebMail rather than a very basic webmail package such as squirrel mail.
However, the one thing that is really bothering me about the package is that there doesn't appear to be any way to thread messages within WebMail Lite or Pro. My thinking is if Squirrel Mail is able to thread messages surely a much more complex and mature package such as AfterLogic's WebMail should be able do this as well.
So, why isn't there any message threading?

Indeed, there's no such feature in AfterLogic WebMail at the moment. We realize its importance, and it is in our TODO list of course, but currently it's not possible to tell when it will become available.

Hi Igor,
Thank you... that's good to know that its at least on the to-do list. As soon as its available I'd actually be able to deploy the professional version to clients.

Ok... now you've got me curious... exactly where within the messaging system are the messages handled? I might be able to craft a solution to thread the messages as they're being displayed.
Would that be handled by a database value being read by the code handling the message display or the code itself?
