It appears that there is no autorefresh in WebMail Pro.
Can someone provide to me some sort of code that could "force" for a particular interval the equivalent of the "Check Mail" button. I do not want to refresh the entire page however.

At the moment, automated mailcheck is not supported, detailed info on this is available here. However, there's a chance that someone from the community has achieved this functionality to a certain extent.
