HI, we're using WebmailPro.Net v4.4 and I've run into a small issue.
In our old email application the mails were stored in the database and the attachments on disk. When we migrated the content into webmailpro we realized that by storing the emails as .eml files, the total size on disc grew by a factor of almost 1.5.
Since our customers are charged per MB this has started to become a serious issue for us.
We would like to know if it is possible to store the emails in DB only (attachments may still be saved on disc). I read in this thread that it is possible by setting StoreMailsInDb=1 but then we would have to wipe out the existing accounts? Is there really no other way?

Yes, that is correct. In this mode, all the message data, including attachments, is stored in the database.

As changing storage mode from filesystem to database impacts the whole functionality set of WebMail Pro, there is no other way provided out-of-box. However, you can request our Professional Services team to develop a migration tool for you in terms of a custom project.
