When I try and save the changes from the admin pages I am getting an error message coming back with "Error detected while saving settings_values.inc.asp file" I have done everything that is in the installation instructions and am puzzled as to why this is happening

This error means "could not save the configuration file to disk".

Most typical reason for this is permissions problem. Make sure Internet Guest User has full control over WebMail data folder (which is specified in settings_path.asp) and all its subfolders.

To tell for sure, please tick "Disable Error Handling" on in mailadm/Debug Settings.

Now, WebMail will not catch ASP errors, and they will be displayed directly. If you now see just Error 500, without detailed error description, make sure to disable friendly error messages in Internet Explorer properties.

If this does not work, please manually set "Const globalIntDisableErrorHandling=1" in settings_values.inc.asp (default value is
"Const globalIntDisableErrorHandling=0"), and save the file. Then, close the browser, and start new mailadm session again.

Please let us know what ASP error message is now displayed, including error description number and line number. Thanks.

Regards,
Alex
