Hi,
I have installed xmailserver v1.25 and the latest afterlogic webmail php.
I succesfully login on webmail interface and when try to send e-mail:
Can't send message. Wrong username and/or password. Authentication failed.
In the log file:

[04/10/2009 12:47:24] [SMTP] Sending encoded password
[04/10/2009 12:47:24] SMTP >>: xxxxxxxxx==
[04/10/2009 12:47:24] SMTP Error <<: 503 Authentication failed
[04/10/2009 12:47:24] >>>[from_server]>>>
<?_xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<webmail>

</webmail>
Note that "xxxxxx" is typed by me...
Please help. Thank you

Problem solved.
This happens when use settings:
hide email field
and don't check:
Login as concatenation of "Login" field + "@" + domain.
