upgrade from 4.4 to 4.5 version is free?

Yes, the upgrade is free.

ASP.NET version:

You can download AfterLogic WebMail Pro 4.5 .NET at:
http://www.afterlogic.com/download/webmail-pro-net.zip

1. Backup the existing WebMail Pro installation:
    - all files in the web folder
    - all files in the data folder
    - WebMail Pro database

2. Update all the files in the web folder with the downloaded ones, except web.config.

3. Upload all files from the data folder of WebMail Pro package except settings/settings.xml and settings/adminpanel.xml file. Please make sure you don't remove Mail subfolder of the data folder.

4. AdminPanel subfolder (in the WebMail virtual directory) needs to have
an application created in IIS configuration. You should choose
AdminPanel subfolder in IIS Manager / WebMail virtual directory,
right-click it, then select "Properties" option and click "Create" button.

5. Navigate to WebMail Admin Console:
http://your_server_name/webmail/AdminPanel

WebMail Pro should get all settings from previous WebMail installation, you should enter your existing license key only.

6. Update the current WebMail Pro database format by clicking "Update" button in WebMail > Database Setting.

7. Once logged into WebMail Pro itself, don't forget to press Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+R to update JS cache to avoid JS errors in your web browser.
