We are having users complaining that messages are not showing as unread (bold Type)they are all showing as read.
This happens in direct mode and non-Direct mode?
Please can you advise

Does it mean this happens in both the modes or in Direct only?

Direct mode means accessing messages directly on mail server without downloading into database. But POP3 protocol doesn't support storing message statuses on server, so it's not possible to determine which of them are new, which not.
Best regards,
Andrew
