Is there anyway to shutdown the LDAP lookup in the new lite .net version? Not all our LDAP entries make sense and when sending a message from WebMail it gets confusing.
Thanks
Jeff

Actually, neither WebMail Pro nor WebMail Lite support LDAP yet. Could you please describe the issue in more detail?
Best regards,
Andrew

Andrew,
What I am attempting to get rid is this:
From: Columbus <help@megavision.com>
MIME-Version: 1.0
X-Mailer: MailBee.NET 3.0.2.79
X-Priority: 3 (Normal)
On the from line you see Columbus and then the email addres. I only want the email addres. I thought this maybe LDAP related but I may be wrong.

Which mail server do you use? Looks like your mail server automatically adds friendly names to e-mail addresses. WebMail Lite is not able to store friendly names (because doesn't use a database backend) and doesn't support LDAP.
Have you tried to reproduce the issue with another mail server?
Please also try to specify a friendly name in From field manually and then check if the friendly name specified by you is replaced with another one after sending.
Anyway, please check your mail server configuration to learn if it has LDAP or some sort of "automatically extend internal e-mail addresses with friendly names" option enabled.
Best regards,
Andrew
