I've had outbound mail from mailbee lite rejected because of spamassassin rule hits. Does anyone have advice on fixing at leat the "dog ate my homework" issues?
L.
This was on a "X-Spam-Checker-Version: Matrix Spam Checker 1.5 (3) on spambackend26.livemail.co.uk"
But it appears to be spamassassin 3.something.
X-Spam-Status: Yes, score=5.5 required=5.0 tests=BAD_ENC_HEADER,INVALID_DATE, MSGID_FROM_MTA_ID,NO_REAL_NAME,SUBJECT_EXCESS_QP autolearn=disabled version=1.5
The 5.5 points came from:
* 0.6 NO_REAL_NAME From: does not include a real name
* 1.8 INVALID_DATE Invalid Date: header (not RFC 2822)
Date: Thu, 2 Nov 2006 10:22:51 +0
The +0 at the end does not conform to the normal format.
* 2.3 BAD_ENC_HEADER Message has bad MIME encoding in the header
The mime encoding of this message is trying to use UTF-8 as a character set, but it’s not encoded it correctly, for example:
* 0.9 MSGID_FROM_MTA_ID Message-Id for external message added locally
A sensable Message-ID should have been added by the program.
* 0.0 SUBJECT_EXCESS_QP Subject: quoted-printable encoded unnecessarily

Thank you for the notice. This will be fixed in the next version of WebMail Lite PHP.
However, we don't recommend using antispam systems because they often catch legitimate mails. We encountered absolutely legitimate mails created with MS Outlook caught by antispam systems many times.
Best regards,
Andrew

You're having a laugh!!
My domain recieves 88% spam 2% other unwanted content. "stick it" if you think I'm not using a filter! ;)
If you find issues with spamassassin then I suggest you report them at http://spamassassin.apache.org They have a very active community and are very helpful if they cock-up.
When will the next release be roughly? and how can I be notified?

The new version of WebMail Lite PHP (which fixes all the issues above) is already available. We forgot to notify you when it was fixed, please accept our apologies.
Best regards,
Andrew
