To determine whether downloaded message is new or not, you should keep UIDs (unique identifiers of messages) of all old messages in database and if you have the message with UID which is not found in database (since you just downloaded it), it is new message. Right now, MailBee WebMail PHP works directly with mail server and does not use any database to store received mails/UIDs. Thus, you should implement database support to your WebMail PHP to determine mail message is new.

However, MailBee WebMail PHP Pro will support this and many other features. MailBee WebMail PHP Pro is currently in development and will be released in a few months.

Best regards,
Alex
