Hello, good morning, evening or night... depending on where you are.

Is there a module / plugin for changing mail account passwords when using postfixadmin ? I found one but does not seem to supported on Webmail 8.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

The plugin for v7 was offered by a third-party developer, and while we don't have one for v8, I believe changing password there was done by modifying a mail server database entry, so you may be able to achieve what you need using this plugin as a ground:

Password change in mail server database

Yes, this is now working for me. Seems there is an issue with some of the code, the getMailModule() method is called expecting it to return a value rather than setting an object. Other than that I just used the password allocation method from postfixadmin and no problem at all.

Thanks again
