          Hello all !

I installed the mail client from the softalucous install in my cPanel..

I can access admin area but how do I pre register account/s - I can only see to use external services and am having probs there.

For instance when using Twitter I get 'gorseinon.wales/mail/?external-services=twitter&oauth_token= blah blah' error

When using Google to authorise i get a 'Error: redirect_uri_mismatch'

In the mail client there is no callback URL given, or pointed to, is that the problem I am having?

Is there a way I can set up registration in a normal, none social network way as well?

I have set up APIs for access before but am just super confused with this all now

 Any help would be appreciated.

 Website is at http://gorseinon.wales/mail/

WebMail can only be used to access existing email accounts, account registration does not exist there.

You need to make sure you have configured IMAP and SMTP server connection details under default domain settings correctly. By default, those are set to local address 127.0.0.1 and it's assumed that WebMail and mailserver are on the same machine. Of course, you can modify both IMAP and SMTP settings to reflect actual connection details of mailserver you use.

Once that's done, any user with existing email account on that mailserver will be able to log into WebMail by specifying their email address and password.

And what about the callback url errors please. Normally, when setting up an oauth / api a callback url to use is given, but I am not getting these? What am I missing please?

From your message, it's not really clear if you have configured authentication via social networks. Please check this documentation page for detailed info. This one may help as well.

After returning from verify action goes to my server with token address:

 https://gorseinon.wales/mail/?external-services=twitter&oauth_token=llFA0QAAAAAAjRivAAABUbIERQI&oauth_verifier=G8lcHwqb3fasI9r8CCk1m8Jdf3OWpzVs

Authorisation apps / APIs with credentials are pretty easy to setup, I just don't understand how none are working. Could this be cPanel install?

I have of course set external services with verification up in admin area, alongside keys.

       | Could this be cPanel install? | | |
Yes, it definitely could be the reason. From the screenshot, I can't really tell whether you have used cPanel installer (embedded setup) or regular package, and it's only going to work in the 2nd case. Please see this section of the documentation page for details.

Seems the install was screwed, has been manually installed now and works fine after logging into account I setup on server..

With the social authentication, do the logins need to be exactly the same as existing email credentials on server?

No, those are unrelated to email credentials. Initially you log into your email account with its actual email credentials, and then add social identification to it under account settings.
